Piha is probably New Zealand’s best-known beach, and it has a reputation for awesome surf. It was the birthplace of New Zealand board riding in 1956 and has been the scene of both New Zealand national and international surfing championship competitions. If your lucky you can watch the experts surf.

Waitakere Ranges Regional Park

Discover stories and secrets of Waitakere Ranges regional Park with a stop at the Arataki Visitor Centre.

Piha Black Sand Beach

Relax on the beach, paddle in the water to your ankles only, we will bring a soccer ball to kick around.

Kitekite Waterfalls

Take a optional walk in the forest to Kitekite Waterfalls (30 min each way)

After an amazing day, we head back to Auckland around 5pm.*
