Piha is probably New Zealand’s best-known beach, and it has a reputation for awesome surf. It was the birthplace of New Zealand board riding in 1956 and has been the scene of both New Zealand national and international surfing championship competitions.

Relax on the beach, paddle in the water, we will bring a soccer ball to kick around.
Take a optional walk in the forest to Kitekite Waterfalls (30 min each way), in summer ypu can swim in the water hole at the base of the falls.
After an amazing day, we head back to Auckland around 6pm.*
